Okay took another 10 and this was the first wave, every other wave was similar but I took a lot more losses on the first this time.

The differences was a lower attack hero and I think I forgot a wave of cav that I sent in first.

I started with ~370K archers and a smattering of everything else (about 16 heros, with attack lv ranging from 60 something to 131, with most around the 100 mark). I lost little over 100K archers in total, needed 63 attacks and it took me 95 mins. Gained like 10K in prestige, 1 nation medal, 5 justice medals and ton of experience for my heros.

Some learnings from me:

1) Can't emphasize enough the importance of having a city right next to the npc. Every 10 min delay and the loyalty went up by 4 points. I suggest having 2 cities, each with lv 7 rally point or higher (will allow you to launch 14 attacks at time).
2) Having tons of warriors to absorb some of the damage might be wise. I did not use many warriors (maybe 30K total) and probably lost more archers than I should have.
3) Keep a close watch on the timing. I lost 20K archers because two of my waves hit before the main wave (which was slower as it had warriors in it). Also lost 15K when comp suddenly spawned 40K warriors (see below) while a wave of attacks was in progress. I guess to avoid the latter, have your waves spaced by 2-3 mins (i.e., don't send 14 attacks at once, send 7, wait a couple mins and then send another 7).

My techs before the attack: Same as Ripsup, except Military science and medicine were also at lv 10.

40K warriors spawned suddenly. I definitely had not planned for that.

So after 13 attacks, loyalty was down to 56. After that two things slowed my progress significantly:
1) My first wave of about 270K archers had been launched from my main base and travel time was 1 hr. I did not have access to those troops for the next 70 odd mins (60 mins back from attack, 10 min from main base to launchpad) -- in hindsight, this was the most dumb mistake
2) Loyalty kept falling by 1 instead of 2 or 3 as it has been before

I'm not posting the intermediate 49 attacks. If anyone is interested, drop me a note. I'll make another posting for those.

Another first wave on a lvl 10

Again big losses, seems to be related to the hero since my hero is much higher attack now and I took huge losses with more stuff then my first attack. The attacks took longer and I hit way more traps.

Another first wave. Different layering and a little better results. Maybe more BR will help, maybe the more warriors helped get rid of the traps, who knows. Future tests will tell, but need to rebuild them archers first. Will try pumping out more BR to see.

Good observations. The npc hero attack level does seem to have a big impact on the outcome.

I'm going to take over my 2nd lv 10 soon. Will post my experience tomorrow.
